In stand-alone operation, there is no connection between the solar PV system and the public power grid. Solar PV systems in stand-alone operation are used, for example, to supply power to remote locations. The ET 250.02 is designed as an extension for the ET 250 test bench and contains system components typical of photovoltaic practice. These include a charge controller, a voltage transformer and a storage battery.
