This equipment allows you to study the behaviour of an elastic rotor subjected to imbalance. You can investigate phenomena in subcritical and supercritical regimes, as well as resonance. It is particularly interesting to compare orbits (trajectories) in the subcritical and supercritical areas. It is also used to balance elastic rotors in operation. The oscillating ball bearings ensure the mobility of the shaft, and the protective bearing limits the amplitudes close to resonance. This kit is combined with the PT 500 basic machine diagnostic system and is mounted on its motherboard.
