The PT 500.13 kit can be used to simulate various defects in order to study their impact on vibration behaviour. In addition, the properties of different types of couplings can be compared. Curved tooth, pin, flange and claw coupling types are studied. The couplings are mounted between the motor and the shaft. The PT 500.05 braking and loading equipment is required to study couplings under load.
