Many vibration phenomena can only be represented under load. A braking and loading device is used to produce torque-dependent vibrations, for example in geared drives or electric motors. It consists of a magnetic particle brake and an electrical control and display unit. The braking torque can be precisely set on the control and display unit. The excitation current is measured as the braking torque and is displayed digitally on a screen.
