In the PT 500.19 kit, an adjustable centring device enables the setting of an asymmetric air gap. A winding that can be switched off creates electromagnetic asymmetry. The display and control unit of the PT 500 supplies the asynchronous motor with power and enables the speed to be set. The motor is loaded by the PT 500.05 braking unit. The PT 500.19 is used in conjunction with the PT 500 basic machine diagnostic system and is mounted on its base plate.
