Understood. Side channel pumps are widely used self-priming centrifugal pumps. Despite their low flow rate, they can reach relatively high pressures. These pumps are capable of sucking and transporting liquids containing gases. In addition, they can be started even if there is no liquid column in the suction line. The side channel stage removes air from the suction line and creates the necessary vacuum to suck in the liquid. In this case, we are using a three-stage side channel pump. The drive and water supply are carried out via the HL 962 test bench.
