In the PT 500.18 kit, the vibrations are induced magnetically. Three impellers with different numbers of moving blades can be studied. A disc protects the rotating blowers. A ground disc that can be mounted at an angle is used to study the gyroscopic effect. The blower can be driven directly, as in reality, via an elastic coupling or with the PT 500.14 belt drive. The PT 500.18 is used in conjunction with the PT 500 basic machine diagnostic system and is mounted on its base plate.
