Descripción
Detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in 24 hours
Characteristics
- The Pseudalert test detects the presence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in water samples.
This test is based on bacterial enzyme detection technology that signals the presence of P. aeruginosa by hydrolyzing a substrate present in the Pseudalert reagent. - P. aeruginosa cells grow rapidly and reproduce using the rich supply of amino acids, vitamins and other nutrients present in Pseudalert reagent.
- Actively growing strains of P. aeruginosa have an enzyme that binds to the reagent substrate to produce blue fluorescence under ultraviolet light.
